Naples: On Friday, February 26, the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club presented a check for $520.10 to the American Legion Post #155 in Naples to support their Veterans in Need program.
The Club took $250 was its budget and $270.10 was raised through Hannaford Supermarket Customer Donation Kiosk. For two years in a row, Hannaford has generously allowed the Rotary Club to collect donations in November and December to support veterans in our community. Rotarian and Club President Julie Forbes remarked, "Most years our Club's donations go to posts in Bridgton, but this year we wanted to make sure to lend support to other Legions in our Rotary area. Our Rotary Club covers Bridgton, Denmark, Harrison, Naples and Sweden."
