This represented 1000 adult masks and 200 children’s face coverings donated by the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club. Linda White, LRHS's Admin Assistant, remarked, “the students return full time the week of March 29th and these masks are very much appreciated.”

In late March officials of the Rotary District representing the 40 plus clubs in southern Maine and coastal NH, drove to East Hampton, CT to collect 164,000 adult surgical masks, children’s masks, and N95’s for distribution throughout the District.

This was the third and final phase of the Million Mask Challenge.  In all, due to the phenomenal contribution of Rotarian Ted Rossi of Connecticut and The Rossi Foundation, a total of 5 Million masks have been distributed in ME, NH, MA, CT, VT, RI, NY, and NJ.  Our District distributed nearly 400,000 masks from October 2020 to March 2021!  The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club has distributed approximately 10,000 masks, many to food pantries in the region.
