Cassandra was one of 50 international winners out of 600 applicants. She has chosen to pursue her masters work at the University of Queensland in Australia, one of seven Rotary peace centers throughout the world. Cassandra was nominated by our club and in turn by Rotary District 7780, comprising 41 clubs in southern Maine and coastal New Hampshire.
This prestigious award is part of a global program to advance research, teaching, practical training and knowledge on issues of international relations, conflict resolution and peacebuilding. It offers a tailored Master's Degree in International Studies for potential world and community leaders, designed to have a practical effect on addressing international and regional conflicts.
