Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club Champions Student Citizenship and Literacy at Lake Region Middle School
The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club is proud to continue its support of the Lake Region Middle School’s “Citizen of the Month” program, a collaborative initiative launched last school year by the Rotary Club’s Youth Committee and LRMS faculty. Each month, one student from each grade is recognized for consistently making thoughtful, respectful, and community-minded choices—earning the title of “Good Citizen.”
“The Rotary Club’s role is simple,” said Rotarian Mark Schrader, former Principal in MSAD 72 in Fryeburg, Maine and member of the Youth Committee. “We award each selected student a $25 gift certificate to Bridgton Books, encouraging both recognition and literacy.”
Club President Dr. Lisa Ryan added, “One of Rotary International’s core missions is to promote literacy worldwide. We believe that owning a book can spark a lifelong love of reading and learning right here in the Lakes Region, as well.”

8th Grade – Aubrey Klimek.  Aubrey is a standout role model who consistently completes her work with care and excellence. Her academic dedication is matched by her kindness and compassion toward both peers and teachers.

7th Grade – Levi Reynolds.  Levi is a quiet leader who leads by example. He follows the Laker Laws, actively participates in class, and treats everyone with respect. His daily greetings and heartfelt “thank yous” reflect his outstanding character.

6th Grade – Charlotte Moss.  Charlotte has made a smooth transition into middle school. She is kind, hardworking, and a positive influence on her classmates.

The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club looks forward to celebrating these students each month and sharing their stories with the community.
