
The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club will host Tova Zsampar of the American Red Cross, Northern New England Region, at its meeting on Thursday, December 18, at 7:30 AM. She will discuss the Red Cross’s disaster relief efforts, Disaster Cycle, Training, and Biomedical Services. She will also discuss Blood Drives.
Zsampar serves as the Southern Maine Community Disaster Program Manager. Since joining the Red Cross, she has been deployed on four major disaster response operations in Northern New England, including Hurricane Lee, the Lewiston mass casualty incident, Maine floods, and a large-scale multi-family fire in Nashua, NH. She oversees more than 100 disaster-trained volunteers across York and Cumberland Counties.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
The meeting will be held at the Bridgton Alliance Church, 368 Harrison Rd., Bridgton, Maine. A Zoom option is also available—email LakeRegionRotary@gmail.com for the link. The meeting is free and open to the public, and coffee will be served.
