President Dr. Lisa Ryan (left) presents Brian Sullivan With His New Member Certificate

The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club inducted its latest member Brian Sullivan of Sweden on March 27, at its Thursday morning meeting.  President Dr. Lisa Ryan said “Brian has jumped on board already by creating flyers for our 2nd annual Shred-A-Thon on May 3 and a Polio Eradication Update on May 29.  His energy and enthusiasm will be an asset to the club.”

Many know Brian because of his roles in the area over the past 10 years.  He is former owner with his wife Julie of the Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford and an active member of the Greater Bridgton Chamber of Commerce where he served on its board of directors for several years. Prior to moving to Maine, Brian was a partner for 27 years in a Boston-based graphic design firm that served high tech, financial, pharmaceutical start-ups, and a variety of non-profit organizations. Sponsored by Carol Madsen of Waterford, when Brian asked her if he should join, she immediately said “Yes. Rotary wants and needs you."  She also added, "For those of you who haven’t seen Brian in awhile, join us at one of our upcoming events or a Thursday morning meeting at the Bridgton Alliance Church."
